Katherine Izhikevich

About Me

I am a Master’s Student in Computer Science at UC San Diego, broadly studying the security and performance of networks, co-advised by Geoff Voelker and Stefan Savage at Sysnet. Primarily, I study how to detect attacker reconnaissance on enterprise networks. I received my B.S. in Mathematics-Computer Science from UCSD in 2022. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, dancing, reading, writing, and hiking. My sister, who also does networking research, is on the faculty job market right now (2024).
